Lakeport has an informal book club that is always open to new members. No degrees in literature are required and no grades are given. Just read the book selected by the group and show up for a lively, lighthearted discussion. We meet on the third Monday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., rotating among members’ homes. If you want to participate, contact Barbara Khan (bskhan@att.net).
These are some of the latest books that we have read and discussed.
Theo of Golden, by Allen Levi
The Silent Patient, by Alex Michaelides
Daughters of Shandong, by Eve J. Chung
Whistler, by Ann Patchett
