We want to thank Marcy and Chuck Foster for hosting our first 2011 Lakeport gathering. We appreciate the use of their home to meet new and old friends in our neighborhood. Everyone had a great time and is looking forward to the next event. If you are one of the few that were not able to attend, we hope to see you at our next event. We had plenty of snacks (loved the crab dip) and a great variety of wine and sodas. We also thank everyone who brought items to help create a lovely evening.
Since the holidays, have you found your wine cellar empty? Have all your snacks disappeared? Here is a great way to replenish all those items. Volunteer to host one of our gatherings. Everyone brings more than they can drink or eat. At the end of the night, you will have restocked your wine cellar and food for the rest of the weekend. You get to meet and create new friends plus more wine and food. What a great opportunity! All you have to do is call or email Marilyn Bursch and set a date. It is just another good reason why it is so great to live at Lakeport.
