The production company of Pan & Cook is proud to announce that on May 7th at 8:00 PM the movie Tangled will be shown at the Lakeport Common Dock. Yes, that’s right. “Movie Night at Lakeport” is back again this year. You can bring your own snacks, a chair or blanket to watch this family friendly movie. If you have a boat, you can anchor just past the common dock. You will be able to tune-in on FM Frequency 88.1 of your radio to hear the movie. All Lakeport Residents and guest are invited to attend. In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown May 14th.
This is a great movie that both kids and adults will enjoy! If you aren’t familiar with the movie here is the storyline. After receiving healing powers from a magical flower, the baby Princess Rapunzel is kidnapped from the palace in the middle of the night by Mother Gothel. Mother Gothel knows that the flower's magical powers are now growing within the golden hair of Rapunzel, and to stay young, she must lock Rapunzel in her hidden tower. Rapunzel is now a teenager and her hair has grown to a length of 70-feet. The beautiful Rapunzel has been in the tower her entire life, and she is curious of the outside world. One day, the bandit Flynn Ryder, scales the tower and is taken captive by Rapunzel. Rapunzel strikes a deal with the charming thief to act as her guide to travel to the place where the floating lights are. Rapunzel has seen these lights every year on her birthday. Rapunzel is about to have the most exciting and magnificent journey of her life.
